This page provides information for raw data publishers as well as those seeking to access and use the data collected and to be published on this site.

Data Providers

We accept data from the following types of companies:

• Mobile applications developers that have AR enabled features in their solutions,
• Mobile AR "middleware" or platform/SDK and toolkit providers,
• Mobile AR client (user agent) providers
• Mobile AR services providers,
• and others upon request or as needed.

You must be verified before you can upload your data to this portal and have it be included in the analyses we perform. Please complete this form to request verification and to receive our guidelines for data collection and handling.

We do not pay for data. All data sets are provided to this service on a strictly voluntary basis.  

Data Management Policy

All data sets provided via this site to PEREY Research & Consulting are used exclusively for the purpose of preparing Mobile AR Industry Metrics Reports and treated as highly confidential.

We accept partial data sets only under condition that we review the data prior to including it in our analyses. If the data provided does not conform to our guidelines, we will notify the provider and request modifications.

We store all data received in a secure manner on our server. We never share/publish raw data.

Data Analysis

All analyses performed on the data provided follows market research industry standards and best practices. We will use the data provided for forecasting, however, our forecasts are not published through this portal and only available on a contractual basis. 

Data Publication

We publish periodic reports of the data analyses through this portal. In 2012 we will publish quarterly summaries with aggregate numbers. Each company that provided raw data will receive notification upon publication and will be able to:

(a) compare their own with respect to the total numbers,
(b) schedule a 30 minute consultation with the analyst to discuss results.

Pending the results of this process, we will adapt our publishing pattern and formats in the future.
