More quantitative information is helpful, but not always better. The analyses of data permit us to detect patterns and provide clues to emerging industry trends. This program will provide four types of publications.

Installed Base of Users

Through the compilation of raw data about installations of software and registrations, and adjusting for multi-platform behavior, we will be able to more accurately estimate the installed base of Mobile AR users. This figure will be published by way of press releases and social media channels on a quarterly basis. Additional estimates of Mobile AR industry size may be made available as well, depending on the quality of data collected.

Data Provider Report

Companies that choose to provide their raw data to the service will receive a complementary compilation of other significant numbers in a quarterly limited-circulation report, including but not limited to:

• adoption by mobile OS
• adoption by geographic region

Commercial Report

Those companies who wish will be able to subscribe for a fee to a quarterly report with complete figures on the basis of which a company can calculate its position and users more accurately. Depending on availability of raw data and agreements with data providers, we may expand this to include information about use cases, sessions and content activity. More information about a subscription agreement will be available in 4th quarter 2012.

Custom Report

Depending on needs of the industry, quality of the data sets and agreements with industry data providers, we may develop a program by which custom reports can be developed to order.
