The first Indoor Positioning and Navigation testbed will be hosted by the GSMA and Fira de Barcelona. Without the support of these organizations to provide the framework for the testbed and the facility, we would be unable to provide this important service to the industry.
The GSMA and Fira de Barcelona may send representatives to observe the testbed in progress, however, the organizations are not invested in any of the participating solutions or biased with respect to the results.
Upon conclusion of the testbed, the participating entities will have the opportunity to meet with the host organizations during a small cocktail reception. If and when the Fira Barcelona chooses to deploy indoor positioning technology into its facilities, it will do so in consultation with the GSMA and other relevant organizations without obligation to participants of the testbed.
