Hackathon Hardware & Software

Participants should bring their own laptops. Participants are encouraged but are not required to bring their own hardware. For example, those who built their own hardware during the Do-It-Yourself Workshop on Juy 7, could bring their own and take these to the next level–make something useful.

There will be Internet access, white boards, flip charts and pens provided by the host, digitalSTROM.

Partner Hardware and Software for the event
digitalSTROM Developer kits including an embedded linux server, energy meters and modules to control home electrical equipment. The server includes JSON interfaces and getting started code for writting server applications, smartphone applications or controlling your hardware.

BEN Energy API's about neighborhood energy consumption data
